Data deletion

You can have your data deleted from Surface at any time. This page explains how, including for data received from connected platforms such as Google and Meta.

If your agency uses Surface

Disconnect any account from the Connections screen and its synced platform data is removed from our systems within 30 days. To delete everything, email olam@dolphinanalytics.co.uk from your account email with the subject "Delete my data". We will confirm within 7 days, and complete deletion of your account, connected-platform data and stored reports within 30 days.

If you submitted the early access form

Email olam@dolphinanalytics.co.uk with the subject "Delete my details" and we will remove your form submission within 7 days.

If your data was connected by an agency you work with

If an agency connected your marketing accounts to Surface and you want that data removed, you can either withdraw the access grant on the platform itself (for example, remove the partner or user access in Google or Meta business settings), or email us at olam@dolphinanalytics.co.uk naming the agency, and we will delete the synced data within 30 days and confirm to you.

What deletion covers

All reporting data synced from your connected platforms, your account details, stored questions and answers, and generated reports held in Surface. Backups age out within a further 30 days. Deletion does not cover exported PDFs already in your or your clients' possession, or records we must keep to comply with law (for example, invoices).
